My fun visit to Camp Holloway!

I am very happy I was able to attend the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee Girl Scout Collector Show recently. (And finally publish this page!)

This was from the second day of the show.

We saw antique and vintage patches, patch displays under glass, pins, books, hats, uniforms from all eras, games, historic photos, handbooks, Custom Barbies, the Girl Scout Shop, (which was open!) and more. We also got invited to lunch, (thanks, all!) but had a prior lunch date, so could not go.

This was a big event. The venue was so beautiful. We learned about the history of this camp too. The camp is named after is named after Josephine Groves Holloway, founder of the first African-American Girl Scout troop in Nashville. Ms. Holloway had a huge hand in this camp forming and being there for the girls. It is a very popular camp today too.

I'd love to look around this property more next year. It looked like some troops had camped out this weekend. The camp had really nice signs showing where to go to find different camp activities.

And did I say the camp had a pool too? AND a huge screened porch for this building.

One of the photos following shows the lovely roof of this event's room. Next time (and I hope they hold this event next year!) I hope to look around even more.

I met some great new Girl Scout friends here, who were extra friendly, and found some neat things to take home.

Here are some photos from the event:

The Welcome Table (with FREE stuff!)

A comfy nook inside the front doors.

How neat to get to meet her in person...

What a beautiful building!

Look who Juliette Low brought with her! Her pet bird.

I didn't notice Juliette's Lows pet bird when I first saw her. She is in her lap

Updating all my blogs, INCLUDING this one. More news - - and more projects.

Updating blogs is SO important. AND doing what is on your list to do...

I need to do updating of this and other blogs more. At least once every 2 weeks. Which really is NOT optimal (I've heard once a week at LEAST, is better.) But that's OK if you must do other things. Like finish books, and put things online for sale, work on the long-deglected yard, etc. etc. I will be putting due dates on blog postings on my calendar very soon. I think this will help.

Today I'm downtown again (as part of my plan), and NOT working on art. One of these days I will. BUT today (for part of the day) I am catching up on Blog Updates.

What I must do is WORK HARDER at getting what is on my list DONE. This is easier said than done. But today, I am doing my updating and having FUN at it (see the last part of this blog...)

I hope you are doing well, my fantastic readers...
I just thought I'd put that out there. What are YOU doing lately? Leave a comment if you have time. Are you inspired to get things done? Are you writing To Do lists and really following them? I am writing everything down in my calendar, AND looking at it every day. This helps me. Now to find a little-ISH calendar that has more room for more things on it.

Updating
I have some great ideas for my art right now. Today, I'm working on updating blogs, checking Unofficial pages, working on Facebook (no, not scrolling and getting info., althought that would be a GREAT time-waster), updating Unofficial event calendars, and tweeting a tad, 2 times per account today. (I have 3 accounts.)

Websites and Pinterest
One thing I should also do, and that is fun too, is updating my websites and Pinterest pages. That is sometimes a way to get ideas of all kinds, which (of course) is also fun. When I post on Twitter, that goes to my Betsyanne site, which is good. Also, current Pinterest finds also show up there. Also, updating websites is a GREAT idea right now, because current Google ads need tweaking to be able to show up better on Smartphones. A heads up for myself and whoever else does websites and uses Google Ads.

Book Listing
My "one-two-a-day" book listings (for sale on Amazon and Ebay) are on my list. I hope to get 50 listings on each site by November. Just writing it down DOES help me.

Links to My Books
Sooner or later, (hopefully SOONER), I will have page links to my own books here. I have rough drafts on a couple, and just an update to be done on another, so really, that is do-able this year too. One is largely a "links" book, so each link will need to be checked, of course, one by one, before the Third Edition.

A new Crossword idea
This is really exciting for me. I also plan to start an "Easy-to-Do" crossword, which I can share more than one place, including on a new Newsletter for a local club. I hopefully will be able to share it here, too. I found that doing crosswords in the local paper and also in USA Today is problematic. Most of the time, I do not finish the crossword at all. The clues for each word are hard for me. So hopefully my crossword will be easier for people.

Paper Dolls
I love paper dolls. I always have. I have purchased some great antique paper dolls I hope to share and sell later on. But that's another story. :-)  I hope to scan them and maybe resize them too. AND put them on nice semi-heavy stock.

TV
Television is taking a back seat. Although it is still tempting to watch it at times. Unless I am doing laundry or it's after 5, though, I am mostly doing other things. Just saying. It's easy to get sidetracked when you are watching TV. For me, at least. I do best when concentrating all the way.

Wish me luck! And the BEST of luck in your endeavors too.

Little by Little.... attacking the wild weeds and bushes... The Legend of Tarzan, plus more news.

Venturing Out - - - Into the Jungle.

I have SO many bushes and weeds, but slowly, they are being clipped and cut.

A little at a time, I'm going into the Jungle here. I have thought a machete would probably help out. Plus, I could look cool at the same time!

Talking about jungles, the Tarzan movie The Legend of Tarzan was excellent. I hope they have a sequel.
Via Wikipedia.

My Old Jungle.

Yes, I still miss the Willow Tree. The above is a later pix of it. I think this is after the storm.

But still have hopes of replacing it with a smaller species later.

Other news: I have made some more discoveries online - - new websites, new links.

Here are a couple to share:

Pocket - - a really fast way to share sites or save them to look at later

I use this one all the time. It really saves me time. And gives me something to look at later.

Mailchimp - - using as my new mail service for newsletters

I've used this once, and it had a learning curve, but it wasn't too bad.

It is hot - hot - hot and humid here at the Garden Spot.

More news: The Girl Scout troop is hopefully coming to glaze their pots sometime this or next month.

I have a GS Songs and Games training scheduled which should be fun too.

The house next door didn't sell, but I think I MIGHT have a new neighbor.

The BGAMUG Computer Club is still going, and we hope to have new officers soon for it. The Nomination Committee meets tonight.

Follow me on Facebook for more news and links.

I hope you are having a GREAT summer.

Apples, trees, bushes, and moles, oh my! Plus, Angie's List membership is now free.

This week, I hope to call a Lawn and Garden Service to come over and start getting my lawn in order.

Luckily, I'm on Angie's List, which helps. I just went there, and found out: Angie's List is free now!

Wow. This is big news to me. It used to be you bought a membership. Well, that will save me money anyway.

And, after being cut back, the apple tree is still bearing. I wish I could use them all. I will be getting some more together and hope to make some baked or sugar-substitute sweet apples on the stove.

Other option: Apple pie, apple crumble.

The moles in the yard are making little hills around in different places. I have not seen any rabbits lately, the the Rabbit Hole is still there. I think there may be another Rabbit Hole next to it also.

To the left is a representation of what I forgot to get this morning. (Coffee!)

Ack.

This is the first posting in a long time here, AND at my other blogs. I need to do them at LEAST monthly. Weekly would be even better. And daily even better than that!

Some more thoughts for this week:

Crossword puzzles: Wouldn't it be nice to make a crossword that can actually be done? (I am not good at them...) With the new two or more word answers I am REALLY up a creek.
You get the idea...

My To-do List. So many people are busy. I am one of those people. There are people that seem to get SO much more done. Yes, you MAKE time for the things you want to accomplish. BUT, if you have a LOT of things you want to accomplish, you need to weed out the other things. This can be difficult.

The News today: (as usual - it is full of war, the killing of other people for no reason - complete with videos, and news of more species being lost in the world.) In the midst of war, violence, injustice, and death, there is still beauty and life. These are worth saving.

Other news: I did an issue of the Nontrad News last week! (finally...) If you are a nontraditional student, (someone going back to school after a break), or are thinking about it, or helping somebody who is a Nontrad, or you are just curious, a link to that and my blog is here: http://non-traditional-students.blogspot.com/2016/07/the-nontrad-news-is-done-here-is-link.html

Radio Station Live 365 is off the air.... darn! But they have suggested other stations...

Ack.

I went to find a neat radio station on Live 365 and it had an announcement on the page.

(When I finally got there there was... there was a warning first, but I knew this site was OK so kept trying...)

ANYWAY, when I got there it seemed like there was an ad on the landing page.

So, I read it.

Then I went to X it out to get to my page and sign in, and realized that the ad was NOT an ad.

Here is a clipping of the page, made smaller:

Yes, not an ad, it's a goodbye! Live365 has closed down.

I wish I'd known about this sooner. I didn't know about the legal deadline either.... I'm sorry to hear about it. I'd have somehow copied the stations I most liked and tried to find out if they planned to move to another location. Darn. I also thought about having a station. But never did it. Ack again.

I hope everyone reconsiders later on and 365 can come back. Right now it's unaffordable for the proverbial Little Guy.

I guess there is always NPR News. But that's not the same. Looks like some research is in order to find a replacement for Live 365. Hope I can find one that is affordable now! If and when I do, I will share it here.

Adding: I really liked Live365 - - they had TONS of free stations. Some of my favorites were the 60's and 70's stations. I was always finding something new there too.

Well, that's it for now.

And I MUST say:  THANKS for stopping by here too. Visit again!

Musings on a Spring-Winter Day. A St. Brigid House Blessing poem.

A house blessing poem about St. Brigid.

It's a thoughtful day. It's also very warm today, which in winter usually means another storm may be on its way. Today is also Posting Day. So I am picking something I like a lot. I posted this Irish Blessing on one of my Facebook pages this week in honor of St. Brigid. I think you will like it too.

St. Brigid's Cross*

May Brigid bless the house wherein you dwell
Bless every fireside, every wall and door

Bless every heart that beats beneath its roof

Bless every hand that toils to bring it joy
Bless every foot that walks its portals through
May Brigid bless the house that shelters you.

From irelandcalling.ie.

Love this! I really do.

And here is a picture** of "Just some of the items left behind by the prayful visitors to St Brigids well near the Cliffs of Moher, County Clare."

One Day at a Time... always a great way to look at things. Amelia Peabody agrees...

More about being easier on myself.... and taking One Day at a Time...

I have a list of things to do this month. Normally, doing taxes are very high on that list, since doing these early is usually a good idea.

This month I have had non-essential (to me) things happen that have inserted OTHER things before this important duty.

I have been doing "MUST-DO" things instead of Should Do things. That gets me behind on everything. Not to complain (still, it is complaining, isn't it?)

Yes, other people sometimes need me to set aside things I want to do and concentrate on things they want to do. Simple as that.

So... I put aside the really important things and get the have-a-deadline, important-to-others things done first. So they can just be done and over with. Period.

Doing as much as I can each day on the REALLY important things on my list just has to be enough. I  tell myself that anyhow If I have made things better at least a little, that is a success for that day. My To-Do lists are way too long usually, but if I do some of the tasks, I have made things better.

Amelia Peabody, in The Snake, the Crocodile, and the Dog, says, "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." (from Matthew 6:34). I think this quote goes right along with what I am trying to do right now, and most days. Because if something I don't like is going on, and I think about it every day, it can put a pall over the joy that each day can bring.

It also has something to do with what I think is important - - joy, happiness, and getting important things done are important to me.

So I am concentrating on what I am doing each day, instead of on the past or future.

I read a lot, too. I think that improves each day. I am reading this book right now.

(Here is my Associate link to it in case you want to check it out too or have not read it yet. Her other books in the series are also listed there). You can buy new OR used books at this site.

I sell there, and sometimes buy there too.

Anyway, there is a whole (fun) series about this fictional character. She does fun things like have adventures, and also discover fabulous treasures in Egypt). Amelia follows many of the 12-Step Program tips... before there WAS a 12-Step Program.

It is simply not worth worrying about something before it happens. Or ruminating a lot about the past. Or trying to do too much in one day. (Adding...)

This is one of those things I know, but sometimes don't live by.

Onward and Upward!

I have several books about 12 Step Programs. They help me, whether in a group or not. The One Day at a Time philosophy is woven into their books and mottos. If you have not looked into this great program, here is a link that may help from Wikipedia:

Advertising online, doing projects, have a GREAT New Year!

Trending.... in my world.

#1. Today I "advertise" the Outdoor Girl Scout Project (quickly, if possible) by posting in Facebook groups and elsewhere. A good posting helps people discover the site and page, and will get more members. Scouter? Former Scout? Boy or Girl Scout Leader? Girl Guider? Girl Scout supporter? We'd love to have YOU too.

Our website: http://outdoor-journey.com/

Our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/outdoor.journey/

OGSP on Twitter: https://twitter.com/OutdoorJourneyB

#2. I will get some clay ready to make some bowls (which I really need at home...) and some cups or figures.
Sold! One mini Fairy Door. About time, I say!

#3. As usual, I have much more to do during and after the holidays...
These things include organizing, boxing up, dusting, cleaning, filling out forms, and tons of other stuff. It boggles my mind how much.

But I CAN do it. At least, I tell myself that.

Projects, projects. I keep writing about them. And I am making progress.

Which is good.

Here is a toast to getting more done soon, too.

Have a WONDERFUL NEW YEAR!!!

My Idea Notebook -- re-doing books, writing, more.

How are your ideas going? Great, I hope.

Here are 3 ideas I personally will be looking at and doing today.

I realize that everyone has ideas and things they want to do. It's the DOING them that can be hard, at least for me. I need motivation, and because I do not have a Trainer or a Motivator on staff, that person needs to be ME.

This week:

1. I plan to get my Favorite (and FREE) websites and links book done again. This will be Edition 2, and will cost either 99 cents, $2.00, or $4.00.

I have found some GREAT and free art sites and they really help with things like this blog.

This will be my first e-book. I hope to put it on Amazon for sale. If not, I will sell it on my blogs and websites. OR do both.

2. I will start writing in my Idea Notebook. This is a book like a diary, which I bought to streamline my daily To-Do lists and make each day a Day of Accomplishment. I will carry it with me like my Calendar, and put OTHER things on there to make me realize I am doing a LOT and getting things done. Good luck to me on that, I say. (haha) But the thought is good. The idea is good. Now to do it. It has been 3 weeks since I bought it and the pages and blank. NOW TODAY I will start using it.

+++++++++++++++++++++++

3. I will try to post at least once a week on ALL my blogs. This is a big endeavor, but one I think will be good for my writing, AND good for my to-do list also.

Have you read "On Writing" by Stephen King? It's great.

Here is a link in case you want to check it out:

I myself do NOT have the 10th Anniversary copy! I need to put it on my WANT list.

Too many interests... do you have that problem too?

I have a LOT of things I want to get done, and many projects I want to work on.

Here are just some of them: Writing and finishing books, working more, earning money, organizing hobbies, helping groups, organizing and getting rid of things, fixing websites, putting things online, volunteering, doing repairs, doing art, learning a new skill, doing more things, ... the list goes on and on.

So.. trying another tack, I think I will invest in a BIGGER notebook. It will be harder to procrastinate or get stuck in some tasks when I do this. It will open things up.

There is more room in a bigger notebook. My calendar right now is really too small. I can hardly put everything on it. I use whiteout a lot. But that does not clear out enough space to really get organized.

The New Plan:

Mark down what to do, and get deadlines going (much like I did while going back to school the second time.)

Try to make the deadlines (crucial)

Divide up responsibilities, work, and fun.

I will see what happens! Have you ever tried this? Did it work for you?

Just putting this out there.

My favorite season: Fall! Also known as Autumn...

Is this YOUR favorite season too? I know it's mine.

Someone wrote on Facebook recently that THEIR favorite season is also Fall. AND that they could actually taste it in the air.

I can feel it in the mornings mostly. The sun is just different, not as fiercely shining. We did have a "real" summer (think: hot) and now in the South Central Kentucky area we are short of rain. But we did have a lot earlier. The farmers aren't liking it.

I personally like the temperatures SO much in the Fall. It is so much more comfortable. And I love to see the changing of the leaves, which is not happening here yet, but of course, will later.

There is something good about every season. I like living somewhere with changeable seasons too, because it makes life more interesting.

So here is to Fall. It's time for celebrating the Harvest, Halloween, and being (maybe) organized when it comes to the holidays this year.

A heads up: the Community Education catalog for BG/Warren County is out!

An FYI: This is so much fun to look through, and I'm sure even MORE fun to use.

This was out quite recently, so the first round of classes may be hard to attend for some.

But later on, there are the usual mix of traditional classes and new ones.

My favorites so far (from looking at the catalog) are :

1. Colored Pencil Basics

2. Using your Digital Camera

3. Cloth Jewelry and Accessories

4. Essential Oils

5. Selling Your Home 101

6. Alzheimer's & Dementia: What You Need to Know

and

7. Genealogy Resources at WKU

There are many others, including computer and language classes.

If you did not pick up a copy in town, you can also visit the Catalog online here:

AND online registration is available.

Girl Scouts, House Repairs, Pro and Con Lists, New Listings, more.

There is SO much to do this week. But that is good. I am keeping to plan so far.

Listing at least ONE thing a day online, OK'ing House Repairs, Checking House Repairs, making a BIG Pro and Con List.

But it's not an impossible journey now. I thought it would be. But even adding that to organization and outdoor work, it is do-able.

Girl Scouts
My Girl Scout blog for the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana Area 17 and Beyond is now private. If you are in my area, request to read it by emailing me at lizann447@yahoo.com. I have an UNofficial Calendar on there that I keep pretty much up to date, plus there are some useful links, plus news. And you can have it come to your inbox.

House Repairs
I just finished my review of Southern Kentucky Home Pros on Angie's List. Thank goodness for this site, it lists contractors from the area. It could use more reviews there. I think they did a good job overall, and I would hire them again.

Pro and Con Lists
You probably have done this before. I THINK I know what side will win, but sometimes I surprise myself. That is why a Pro and Con list is so good. I find myself really going to town on one side sometimes, and thinking of more reasons than you would have without it. It helps with clarity.

New Listings
I have one new listing (of things to sell) to do each day, except on weekends, but I can do one those days too. Today I list a book called Sermons from the Devil from 1904. It has some pretty wild illustrations in it. I will post them with the listing, probably on Ebay. I have a store's worth of books here (probably because I was going to open a Brick and Mortar Store! I can still do that later though.)

Curious about my store listings?
You can check out all my sites, Etsy, Ebay, and Amazon, on my page here:
The Best Books and Collectibles.
I am thinking of switching this page to the Betsyanne page (http://www.betsyanne.com) because it's easier to just keep track of one page. But whatever. And I definitely have some other things that will go here next year, like paper dolls and also ebooks.

Clear as mud? Hope it's a little clearer than that. Har, har.

Monday - first Business Day of my new schedule. Plus, discoveries...

So, business and discoveries.

One Discovery: It takes a lot of discipline to not constantly research online instead of doing needed work.

But then, you probably already know that.

Today, I've posted on my selling sites, made needed blog postings, and done more on my To Do List. I find having a schedule, and sticking to it, is a must now.

More Business

#1. I have not figured out why some online sellers ask astronomical process for some items, then change this the next day. So, THAT kind of research is a must. Don't just take somebody else's price for a clue. I did that. I still have not figured out why some sellers price way above the market. Maybe they figure a foreign buyer won't know the correct (think: real) price for something and pay the hugely inflated price because of that.

This won't work well in the long run for them.

I HAVE figured out why people offer $1.00 or less books on Amazon. It's to get the word out about your Bookselling business. So it could be worth it to do that.

#2. YMLP: Your Mailing List Program: This is a great site for newsletters and mailing lists - - but really, the cheap option does not last long. This can be said of many programs and sites though. I'm still there.

#3. I went to Steve Weber's site today (thinking it might look like it used to look) and saw that now Steve Weber (author of lots of Bookselling on the Internet books) now has other things on the site besides advice. I list this site at the end of this posting. I have not done researching it, BUT this site used to have a lot of good free advice on it for online sellers.

This site is now "Kindle Buffet", which has some good free e-books, which I like. But I miss the free advice. Darn.

But you can still get his advice via his books. His most famous one is The Home-Based Bookstore.

More Discoveries

#1. See above. Some of these count, I think.

#2: I found out that there is a NEW volume after the famous Princess books by Jean Sasson. The new book is called Princess: More Tears To Cry. Must. Read. This.

#3. It's hard to limit myself to 5,000 Likes on Facebook. These are not just people that I like on this list, it's every Girl Scout group I can possibly add on. I am having to quit great "Other" category groups because of this now. There should be an option for more than 5,000. Just saying.

Well, that's it for today. I hope to write more for this blog starting this week.

I hope your week goes GREAT.

Sharing my FB posting - - is it really Women's Equality Day? I beg to differ.

I keep seeing Women's Equality Day postings today.

And don't agree with sharing that on social media. It's the whole title that gets me.

I think they should call today "Women Get the Vote in the U.S. Day - let's remember that day - - and all the Sisters who made it happen" instead of "Women's Equality Day". Because everyone knows women have not achieved true equality yet.

One example: women don't get paid as much as men do, for the exact same job. Why? Because companies and employers do it because they won't be prosecuted for it. I don't see the Wage Police going into companies and arresting bosses who do this. Some people actually believe that women don't need as much money as men do, which of course is ignoring all kinds of single women households, for one thing.

Obviously, that is not an example of equality.

We also don't get promoted like men in some cases, and we still have many "glass ceilings" to break for women, that is for sure.

Women still are not really equal in many countries. Some can't drive, some can't work, even if they want to. Some can't make any decisions at all in their own lives. Some actually come to believe that since they are women, they are not worth much.

I am not saying that men are not working to change this, many are. They do all they can sometimes. And many make a huge difference in the lives of women in their families and more.

And wouldn't it be nice if women were truly equal to men in every way, everywhere?

Then we could have a day for it, and call it "Women's Equality Day" for the whole world.

Overdue Posting! Getting the trailer paneled, Weeds begone!, Girl Scouts, Paper Dolls

Yes, this is an Overdue Posting, like many lately. But I'm getting back on track, and that always feels good.

I hope to get at least two postings per week done without fail later on, because I will want to feature my items on Ebay, Amazon, and Etsy. And that means, ramping things up for sure.

The trailer is being paneled this week. Yay! It really needs it. It has been a long time just getting everything organized. My Aunt is used to doing this, and my Mom had lots of experience, but me? Not so much. I do know that not everyone prefers to work on doublewides though.

Weeds have been cut back to allow the work to start. I'm looking forward to seeing it get done. We also got the wasps and hornets out of the way. No, it was not a big nest, but it was not the tiny kind either. It was in the shape of a round light.

Girl Scout recruitment is on for here and many areas. I have been helping to start a new troop called the International Arts and Adventure Troop for 7th through 12th grades. So far, so good. I can't wait until it gets a number and is official.

Paper dolls... I love them. I have ordered some older ones and hope to scan them and make a package for people like me that love older paper dolls and print them up to sell.

More: It's astounding how nature reclaims itself if you don't keep cutting bushes, plants, etc. back every year. Wow.

The weather here is not as jungle-like this week. That is a good thing.

Next year, will I grow some vegetables? It would be smart. Raised beds? Maybe. A cold frame made with a window? Maybe. I talked about it today.

I almost forgot to mention: Will I finish my books? Will I do those paintings? Stay tuned.

I hope things are going well for all my wonderful readers.

Mobile Homes Vs. Houses - just saying! But I like my doublewide anyhow.

I really like my mobile home.

Seriously. It is a doublewide, and SO much bigger than the older singlewide trailer I used to live in. But still, space is limited.

Plus, it has a real yard too.

We are fixing it up a little at a time. Which it needs a LOT.

Sometimes, I think I would rather have a house. Because... they have basements, and sometimes we have bad storms here. Plus, they sometimes have storage in attics. And keep their value pretty well.

I weathered a tornado that went over my garage once. It was scary! We ran out there and crouched under a table (my daughter and I). Talk about loud! Anyway, we were OK.

Another plus, there is room for a garden here, also also on the plus side (thus: my From the Garden Spot blog that points here) and there is room for raised beds inside a chain link fence.

I like that. Plus, any visitors with dogs have a safe place for them to run.

A dreamy Victorian house. ::::sigh::::

You generally don't hear a lot of good things about mobile homes, but to me, they are vaguely like the new Tiny Homes, generally smaller than most homes, and generally OK on utilities. Trailers, regular and doublewides, have a place, definitely.

I didn't know before, but to put another house on property you own, it must be at least an acre, and preferably larger. Just saying. Storage Units are OK though. And a Little House would also be OK if the law permitted it, which it doesn't. Darn.

I enjoy looking at Little House designs and seeing how much bigger the trailer is! And I like to see photos sometimes of busy streets that don't have a farm on the other side of the road. It is relaxing to look across the street and see farmland. Plus, it's also enjoyable to see the cows, donkey, and miniature horse relaxing over there. Once in awhile you see a possum or a turkey.

There is a soap (?) factory past the farm. At night, the lights are on and if you squint, it looks like a big, very tall castle. And you can see some of the stars here, and are not too far at all from town.

We have many birds, some bunnies, and an occasional possum.

All for today. So the trailer wins against a house, for now. But like the photo above, I do think about them once in awhile.

Musings...and a few vacation photos...

I am busy, busy, busy...

I'll bet you are too!

Today I make sure all my postings get on there already... for Ebay, Amazon, and Etsy.

AND have my two most important blogs posted, this one.... and the Nontraditional Student blog.

Now to post a few of my vacation photos from a short trip to Wisconsin recently. In Manitowoc, there was a print show of some of my grandparents' prints from all over, which are now at the Rahr-West in their permanent collection.

I will fill the descriptions on these in soon. ;-)

The Badger takes off for Michigan from Manitowoc.

A beautiful bridge.

We would love to take this across to Michigan.

One of my favorites! Marc Chagall, "Maternity with Centaur"

My cousins, Andor and David, Rickey, my Aunt, and Val.

A popular dog.

Victor Vasarely print.

Lewis or Clark?

Unhappy trapper, rub his nose for luck.

Beautiful lamp, birdcage.

Beautiful flowers at the Flying Pig gardens...
